World of Marble and Granite. These guys always have specials and so far the reliably best prices on Travertine Tiles. In addition their range of travertine and porcelain tiles has to be seen to be believed. Based in Paarden Eiland.
Wode Trading. We bought some amazing bathroom fittings for very little from Wode. Wode are based in Parow Industria, and have an unprepossession front entrance that is easy to miss. Nevertheless worth the visit, even if you do go up and down the street a few times looking for them. Call them to enquire about specials.
Sambo Granite. I shopped around once upon a time for granite suppliers. I must have phone 10 places, some of which I found online, and some of which came as recommendations from contacts in the building industry. So far, I never found a better supplier than Sambo. Their prices have consistently been better than anywhere else. They install with no hassle and no fuss. Nowadays, I don't bother shopping around for granite any more. I just go straight to Sambo. Sambo is based in Athlone, and I have always has excellent service from Salama.
